Founded in 2012 with the goal of participate in skills development, we also developed as a company, according to the Skill Development Actions in South Africa led by the Quality Council for Trade and Occupations. (QCTO).
QCTO is one of three Quality Assurance Bodies applying legislation to learning in South Africa – the focuss is primarily on Skills Development. AIT have provided Skills Training to three thousand seven hundred and twenty 3720 students over a period of 8 years and are ready to provide our students with official skills development Qualifications.
Celebrating Achievements: African Institute of Technology's 2023 Graduation
Cape Town, December 11, 2023 – Last week, the African Institute of Technology (AIT) celebrated the accomplishments of its graduates at the Grassy Park Civic Centre in Cape Town. The graduation ceremony, held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, was a momentous occasion for both the institute and its students.
Diverse Achievements:
A total of 160 students proudly walked across the stage to receive their Diplomas in Counselling and Ministry, marking the successful completion of their academic journey in these crucial fields. The diplomas symbolize their dedication to helping and guiding individuals through the complexities of life and spirituality.
In addition to the diploma recipients, 55 students were awarded Certificates in Christian Religious Professional, reflecting their commitment to advancing their knowledge and skills in the realm of Christian religious studies.
Academic Excellence:
Among the graduates, one outstanding student achieved a significant milestone by receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Theology degree from Gideon Roberts University in Zambia. This notable accomplishment demonstrates the global reach and partnerships that AIT has cultivated to provide its students with diverse educational opportunities.
Community Development Skills Program:
Furthermore, the ceremony celebrated the achievements of two students who exhibited exceptional dedication and versatility by obtaining three different certificates each through the Community Development Skills Program. These students demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact on society through the acquisition of specialized skills. The three certificates earned include:
a) Certificate in Counseling: Equipping individuals with the necessary skills to provide guidance and support to those in need.
b) Certificate in Substance and Alcohol Abuse: Addressing one of the pressing challenges in society, these graduates are now prepared to contribute to the fight against substance abuse.
c) Certificate in Life Coaching: Empowering individuals to reach their full potential and navigate life’s challenges successfully.
The Journey Ahead:
As these graduates embark on the next chapters of their lives, the knowledge and skills acquired at AIT will undoubtedly serve as a solid foundation. The institute takes pride in fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment, preparing its students to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world at large.
